Wednesday, August 31, 2011. HIV Transmission Prevention in pregnant women. This is the fifth woman in our program, with the nurse Khun June, and Amanda. She recently delivered, and both she and her baby received the medication to prevent transmission of the virus, and now she receives the milk powder, both through our program. There are many people waiting for some donations all over the world. The reason why I have invested my time and my money for Ken Hyde and the Volunteer Teacher Center. In Khao Lak, Thailand, is easy to explain. I found different jobs on idealist. org, where I could imagine to work as a volunteer. Reading the volunteer jobs I recognized that the volunteer fees of Ken are much lower - only 50 Euro to cover the office costs - on the other side there is no room and food included.
